EasyTables privacy notice
Effective 6 October 2026 · Applies to EasyTables 1.41.0 and later.
This notice explains the personal data processed for EasyTables licensing and purchases. It supplements the general privacy policy.

Your table data stays in Tableau
EasyTables reads Tableau summary data and, when Tableau grants Full Data permission, underlying rows for exact calculations. Worksheet rows, field values, workbook names and workbook contents are processed in your browser and are never sent to us. Author settings are stored in the workbook by Tableau, and the workbook owner controls them.

The automatic access check sends no Tableau username or email, and it sends the one-way hash above instead of the Tableau account ID. An access decision concerns a Tableau deployment’s licence. On EasyTables Free, the eleventh and later accounts of a month see a purchase window instead of the table until the next month; this applies the free edition’s account limit and involves no profiling.
In your browser
The account hash is computed in the browser for each access check and is not stored there. The EasyTables Free installation code is saved in the workbook settings, like an activation code, and not in browser storage.
When a Tableau Cloud author uses an activation code in edit mode, EasyTables remembers that code in the browser’s local storage for that Tableau address, for up to 90 days after its last successful use. A new workbook can then offer the masked code, and the code is saved to a workbook only when the author chooses it. Choose “Forget saved code” in EasyTables or clear the browser’s site data to remove it. The code is never added to URLs, settings exports or Excel exports.
Purchases
Lemon Squeezy sells EasyTables as merchant of record. It collects your name, email, billing address, payment and tax details under its own privacy policy and is a separate controller for that data. We never receive card details. Lemon Squeezy sends us the order, subscription and licence-key information listed above so that we can deliver and manage your licence.
Who receives data
- Netlify: hosting of the extension, purchase pages and this website (United States).
- Hetzner Online: licensing server and database (European Union).
- Google: web fonts loaded by this website and the support mailbox.
- Cloudflare: DNS and email routing for databeyond.app.
- Lemon Squeezy: merchant of record for purchases.
When a provider processes data outside Serbia or the European Economic Area, the transfer relies on the provider’s Standard Contractual Clauses or its EU–US Data Privacy Framework certification, as applicable. We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising. The EasyTables product page, these legal pages and the extension load no analytics or advertising tags.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, objection to processing based on legitimate interests, and a copy of data you provided. Email the address above and we will answer within one month. To find the right records we may ask for the licence or the Tableau address concerned, never for passwords or card details. You can also complain to the Serbian Commissioner for Information of Public Importance and Personal Data Protection (poverenik.rs) or to the data-protection authority in your EU country.
Changes
We update this notice when EasyTables processing changes and show the new date at the top.
